The B.F. Thompson Home

This home was built in 1927 for Benjamin F. Thompson, a prominent businessman of Ridgway.  Thompson owned and operated a grocery store and meat counter, which was located at the foot of Montmorenci across from the B&O train station.

The home features a colonial staircase rising from a large central living space.  Beautiful french doors separate the dining room and the sun porch.  The floors of the home have all been recently been restored in oak hardwood. Both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home boast gracious bedrooms off of the central staircase.
